Multi Effects Processor question

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok. Here is my dilemma.

I typically use effects. But I very much prefer the sound of my amp behind them. I also prefer multi-effect processors - but I don't like amp modeling.

So...

Any recommendations for a rackmounted multi-effects processor that does not have amp modeling?

Thanks. Gus

I know it's not rack mounted but you could try the roland V bass, I use only as a multi FX - no midi pickup,
from looking around these units are going pretty cheap and now that there is a new version coming out they should be even cheaper.
the new version is rack mountable i think.

Line6 POD X3.

You don't have to use the amp modelling.

Eventide H8000FW. Good news, too... they're in stock at musiciansfriend.com.

Korg AX3000B, you have the option on whether you want to use the Amp/Cab modling, plus it's really cheap and really good .
