Multiple Tech 21 pedals on a single board

Had a quick question for you tone fiends..

I just got back into playing after a rather long hiatus from the low end. Prior to not playing altogether, I'd never in my life owned any of my own pedals for bass playing. Playing a gig or rehearsing was as simple as plugging my bass into my amp and adjusting the Gain and Volume knobs to taste. I also never used to be happy with my overall tone, and always had my eyes set on buying pedals to help shape things up into something I'd be more satisfied with.

I'd done ample research online, as far as looking into and knowing what does what, but now that I'm playing again, I've decided to go all out and assemble a decent setup for my very first pedalboard.

Now for the quick question- does anyone here have more than one of Tech 21's pedals on their board? Not talking about running them at the same time, but for mixing up the basic overall tone between songs. I had played through a Sansamp BDDI at a show back in the day, and had used one at a friend's recording studio, and really liked the results. This was my first purchase. However, I'm really digging the sound samples I've heard of the VT bass pedal as well.. it seems like something I'd really enjoy and use quite often to play and write with.

So how ridiculous would it be for me to have a Sansamp BDDI on the same board as a VT Bass pedal? Anyone do this? Am I out of my mind for not picking just one? Is this not a very cost efficient solution? I know they work well by themselves, do they work well together?

Thanks for any and all input!

I used to do that. And I loved it. But, I sold them both and bought a VT Deluxe...and am happier.

As I was thumbing through my MF catalog, and reading the expanded section covering the Leeds, U.S. Steel, and Oxford, it occurred to be that a VT Bass Deluxe that also included the Leeds would be pretty cool.

Not sure how the Oxford or U.S. Steel would work with bass, but lots to TB'rs have spoken well of the Leeds.

I had VT bass and the Sansamp BDDI. I replaced both with the VT Deluxe, which can nail the Sansamp when the character is rolled off. You can get 6 presets with the VT, which should cover just about everything for you.

This has been most informative, guys..
I shall now sit on my hands, to keep myself from buying a VT Deluxe.

I've got a PBDDI and it's always on. I used to have a VT that I'd run into it as an overdrive--I now use a Leeds for that purpose. It works very well. The only thing that worries me about replacing all of that with a VT Deluxe is that I'd lose the option to put the overdrive where I want it in the signal chain (in the middle, rather than at the end--because it doesn't make sense to have the VT Deluxe anywhere but at the end if you're using it for a DI).

Although not with the Tech 21 pedals, I have a couple Artec EQ pedals that I use in conjunction with various effects loops on my board. I've never had any troubles.
