That was the only thing I could find with a list of settings detailing their experience with trying to get that tone.
Peace,

Hysteria is created with a Roland Synth, where Chris play's the clean bass part underneath it, and TIRO is played with an Akai Deep Impact synth pedal.
For hysteria, I can get a fairly good tone (not brilliantly accurate, but it sounds good) by scooping the mids after my LBM. Try turning your mids down to about half, and treble down to about 3/4, then bass as normal. Keep the distortion low. I don't have a Blowtorch so this is all theoretical.
As for TIRO...I'm not sure. :P |

my younger brother has a russian big muff and we found a setting on it one time that gave PRETTY convincing hysteria...it WAS missing that synthy element inherent in the tone of the part as chris plays it, but, itd MORE than pass if you were playing it in a cover situation
...now if either of us could remember the setting...
TIRO...good luck! it's eluded me, but, i never really had a REAL urge to get that particular sound |
