I'd say if anything, he'd be using the black Pi. I would imagine he's using another distortion(s) too.
Check this, it'll give you details: http://funksheet.blogspot.com/2009/1...lmes-gear.html
So I was right, black big muff. Only he has two.

THAT WAS A FAIL | You know, he was simply pointing out that there's a search tool on this site for a REASON...But if you're gonna be rude about it, I suppose you already knew that. Proven by the fact you posted a thread requesting information a general Google search could turn up on the first page of the search, and yes it is on the first page of the search if you search "Christopher Wolstenholme gear."
On this site, it turns up four threads related to Muse, one of which contains a full discussion of the information you wanted that is two pages long.
Good day to you, sir.

Just typing his name into the search engine will give you a link on the first page to a link with all the gear he has used over the years... Stop expecting people to do all the work for you when it`s right in front of you if you only take a few seconds to look.
*edit*
Screw it, I want to end this thread now. http://www.musewiki.org/Bass
He also had a full cover in BP mag that went through his entire rig and you can find it online as well.
Don`t be pathetic.
*edit edit*
If you have the time to look up his middle name, you have the time to look up his gear through a search...

This is due to the simple fact that Christopher is not a human. He is some sort of alien bassist using alien effects. This is why no one can tell you. Mere mortals should not attempt to unlock the secrets of the dark one. Your attempts will fail. Search if you want. If you attempt to unlock these secrets you will find that he uses some weird alien synth and a bunch of distortions.

So if I understand this correctly, you have a week to figure out how you're going to cop Wolstenholme's tone convincingly with a multi-effect.
Having accepted this, here is my first question: what setting will you be playing in? Small live gig? Studio session? Solo performance?
With a GT-10B alone, this will be no easy feat. The drives on that unit, and especially the synth, suck something awful if I recall my short experience with it correctly. The safest bet with that unit alone is going to be splitting the signal, assuming it has that capability (I don't remember if it does.) Use one of the fuzzes and run it into a filter, and then keep the other path clean (maybe some EQ or compression will tie it up nicely). Start with that.
