Im running my bass through a boss Superoctave ( OC-3) and a big muff. How can I get that tone that Chris does when theyre playing live? For example, in reading in 2006, his bass sound like it has a clean tone over it!? How can I do this? pleeeaassee help (my amp is an ashdown eb 180, with this effect send/recieve thingy aswell as a passive and active input)... |

get a blender pedal thingy (BOSS LS-2 for example)... blending clean signal with effected signal
search this forum thingy for about hundreds threads on Chris' tone and what effects he uses/used.

Please use your existing one if you have any further questions from now on, or, better yet, perform a search. The Starlight tone has been covered in this forum numerous times, as well as several other tones of his.

Oh, add Burton to the list too. |
