Music goals for 2013

My goals are to get my current group of songs down to a manageable number and get them finished,mixed and mastered.

Sell un-used gear, take the money from that to take the plunge on an upright, continue working on my solo repertoire (which would probably benefit from some looping because I am no chops meister), and get YouTubes of my main band's originals put together. And continue to gig as much as possible.

Develop skill on my 5 string which after +20 on a 4 banger is very refreshing. Start doing some singing... Listen better to what the rest of the band is doing...Practice and play out more... Get down to 5 or possibly 4 basses...

For me, make some songs, make some albums, get many gigs, become commercial, get paid, get a jon (for a while), upgrading my bass, upgrading my fx, get an amp, get road ready cases for my instruments, and maybe I'll get a new bass

and improving my skill of course

That would be invaluable experience so that by the time the Quints are ready for their album, you can play bass AND produce it.

Mine is to get back to writing & recording .... I used to record as lot but the last couple of years I've gigged so much that when I did have some time off I wasn't in the right frame of mind to write or record.
