| I've got one. The switch literally disintegrated on me while investigating why it stopped working, but it was a quality brand switch so that was just bad luck and not the pedal company's fault. I easily replaced it.
The "touch" option still requires you to put pressure on it to get it working. You just lean on it a bit and it comes on. It'll go off if you rock back too far and release that pressure, but it's easy to get used to. It's not quite like the Ibanez one that comes on as soon as you move it slightly (if you set it that way). I prefer that, I think, and in fact prefer the Ibanez pedal overall so that's the one I use.
The one you're asking about has some cool sounds, and some very big low end sounds, but I only find one setting that I really think would work in a mix.
A lot of effects make interesting sounds IMO, but they're not desireable once you blast those sounds through an amp or a PA. That includes some of the extreme low-end and peaks of a lot of wah/envelope effects IMO. This one has enough adjustment options so you can avoid that problem.
The volume is pretty even. Just a bit louder. Odd mechanism inside for the effect. There's a review on this site of the Mk.I and the Mk.II has a much better mechanism but I still think a traditional one is best although this one works fine.
Try it yourself. You'd likely have little trouble re-selling it for approximately what you paid if the price is fair.
