Musicians Friend Sale

Sign in to disble this ad
So there's only 7 hours left for the specials at Musician's Friend. I really want to get something. It's not a matter of need, simply a matter of want.

My wish list includes: EHX Holy Grail Plus, EBS Bass IQ, EBS Dynaverb, EBS MultiDrive, TC Rex Bass Juice, etc.

What would you guys get? Any other suggestions?

It's hard to suggest something when we have no idea what you want, soundwise. Sure, you listed some pedals, but it's not all that helpful.

Out of the pedals you listed, I'd personally opt for the Bass IQ and MultiDrive, simply because I like how those sound and I could find use for them in the music I play (ranging from alternative rock to progressive metal).

But again, what I'd want/need/use is different than what you'd probably want/need/use.

Thanks Boo. Yea, it's kind of an odd question to give advice on. I think I'm just looking for something that's fun to play with and doesn't have to be that useful in my band (grunge, rock cover band).

I already have a Mammoth and an M-80, so my fuzz and distortion are pretty much covered. However, I wouldn't mind upgrading my distortion with the MultiDrive or TC Rex. Would you consider them upgrades to the M-80?

If not, I'd probably go with something less useful, in my band situation, but fun like the Holy Grail Plus, Bass IQ, or Dynaverb.

of those, id go for an EBS. probobly the bass IQ or verb. their reverb is the best sounding reverb ive heard on bass outside the studio, and the bass IQ is very good..

Thanks Tom.

I was just talking to one of my friends. He had no idea what sale I was talking about at MF. Did anyone else get the e-mail I'm talking about? It gives you a number to call and then tells you what you need to say over the phone to get the deal. The deal is 15% off. You can't use it online.

I know it's legit because I've done it a couple of times in the past.

I just ordered an octave pedal Friday night and got 15% off. Some of the guys there don't seem to know about it and put you on hold until they find out, others know instantly and there are no problems (I had to call multiple times, my phone was screwed up)

Just say you heard there was a "15% off 'special offer'".

Hey Mike,

I just placed my order. I don't think the secret word matters too much - MF Save. I'm not sure if I even said it. I just mentioned the 15% off special in which you must place orders over the phone.

I don't think you can get the special if you didn't get an e-mail. You have to give them some information when you first call. They then look you up to see if they sent you an e-mail.

I recieved the email, just called and said if could get the 15% off. Product you want has to be on a list to get it.
On its way: 1 EBS multicomp, $169.15.

Great Olskewl56!! I too ordered an EBS pedal. I got the Dynaverb for $211 + tax and shipping which I believe there was none.

So is the discount applied just as you pay as the Ernie Ball 25k Volume Pedal is in the list of brands but no discount is there when just looking at it on the website.

So if there is a discount does anyone want to help me out and help someone in the UK purchase one

It sounds like you needed to get the sale email, then need to phone the order in, not through the website. Does any one know if you can get the discount without the email?

I'll lend a hand Tayste....You definitely want it right now?

Edit: Just checked my email again and it says it expired at midnight last night. Is there a new redemption code for the linked sale or is it just a phone call that's necessary?
