i'm thinking of buying this pedal board
does anyone have any experience with it? this is my first pedal board experience and I'm trying to go cheap right now. I was thinking of getting a 1 spot and a cheaper pedal board, but this seems to make good sense too.

In the home studio, it's fine. Build quality isn't too amazing so I wouldn't expect it to survive much gigging. However it's very simple so you could probably reinforce it cheaply if needed.
edit: I actually got mine from eBay for a few $ less and spent the difference on a 1-spot as the adapter that comes with the board doesn't have much grunt to it.

I would get a SKB or Furman before getting that board. In a perfect situation, a pedaltrain and PP2 would be great, but the 1st 2 I mentioned will get you by, plus each one has spaces for wall-wart power...can't go (too) wrong w/ that. |

One day i'll blow the money on a nice pedal board and power source, but not today. I still need to get more than 2 effects first.. . What i'm getting should suffice for now. I'm not gigging at the current moment, so i'm not super worried about it.
ps the walking delay came in today.

Ps I got the one spot at gc today and the sales guy asked me if I only wanted one. I gave him a face and then he said "oh I guess that's the point" haha

Meaning, no hum, your pedals are safe via a fuse, and everything is working at 100%. If you have more than 5 pedals, this is necessary. |

It is a temporary solution. If you have that many pedals you want to invest more money and get something that you know will work.

I'm thinking that I might have to take up the velcro and lay some new industrial-grade stuff down.
That said, it's tough to complain considering the price! |

I've had many customers have hum problems (more guitar oriented ime) and then get the voodoo lab and come back delighted. It's necessary when you want a neat setup, have more than 5 pedals, and want no hum. I'm not saying a 1spot doesn't work, it's just a better way.
but anyways, if you only have two pedals- you'll be fine....until Voodoo Lab comes out with the ISO5 |

| | | | i own one, it's okay. it's works fine, i only have 4 pedals. no problems with hum or noise, but i don't like the soft cover bag, if you are doing alot of gigging i would look elsewhere
also i hate the way the adapter pugs in , it stands up vertical and could easily get stepped on. maybe a used peadlboard off CL or EvilBAY for that price

and i use a 1 spot to power 6 pedals and two wirelesses.
FTW!!!
