Anyone got any experience with them? I ordered a pedal from them a couple of weeks ago and it still hasn't turned up (I'm in the UK). I emailed them chasing it up a few days ago and still no response. It might have just been held up at customs, but I'm still a tad worried

I'm guessing it's been caught up at UK customs. I'm considering ordering a pedal from them and the majority of opinions I've heard of musictoyz have all been fairly favourable.

I had a great experience with them. You're in the UK, which is why it's taking so long.

Maybe, but I've ordered stuff from the u.s before that's come inside a week, and the delivery service was supposedly 2-4 days, oh well, just checking they're a reputable place, I'd never heard of them before but they had it for cheapest

I bought from them once and it took about two weeks to come. Holding up at customs sure takes some time but it should be a week or so, not more.

I bought from them twice and had problems both times. I don't buy from them any more.

I've had speed/communication problems with them before. As such, they are not my favorite, I really only consider them for things I can't get elsewhere. It seems the problems get fixed, it's just not always as soon as you would hope.

i bought a pedal from them once. it was a domestic shipment but it was quick nonetheless. i ended up returning it and they were pretty good about that too. no complaints here.

with Musictoyz it's always a good deal to verify that they have something in stock before ordering. Their site isn't always indicative of whether they actually have something.

Bingo.

I've ordered from them three times. The two times they had the pedal in stock the shipping was fast. But the time that they didn't took a long time and the communication was less than stellar.

I've seen many threads about them, good and bad, on the (old) Gibson forum. They are a small company that generally give good service but can also be slow for delivery and problem resolution.

Odd you should mention that, after I ordered it I checked the order status and it said it was back-ordered, so I emailed them asking them if it was actually in stock, and they said it was an inventroy error or something, that it was in stock, and they'd be shipping it out that same day.

Oh well, I'm probably just being paranoid

minor bumpage, I was wondering if anyone knows anyone at musictoyz, it's been 3 weeks since i ordered this thing and I haven't heard anything from anyone, but what's really irking me is the 4 emails i've sent and the zero responses i've got, if anyone could help me out i'd appreciate it

Hey just my input, prolly makes you a little more at ease. The last I ordered with them it took about 3 weeks too. And they didnt respond to my emails as well. But it did come eventually. So maybe you can wait for a week more and if it still doesnt come then you gotta call them dude.

I've bought stuff from the States before and they've taken up to 4 weeks to come. I still think that it's caught up at customs. They're an absolute pain over here. It'll work out in the end...
