MXR Auto Q vs MXR Bass Auto Q...

I'm new to this so please bear with me...

I fooled around with an MXR Auto Q last night and wanted to know if there is really a difference between that and the "Bass" Auto Q? If so what is different?

I haven't tried both but I did come across a bassist who'd bought the "guitar" Auto Q by mistake and wasn't happy with it.

The Bass Auto Q I did own for a while but let it go because it was a bit too tame for my liking. A lot of players really like it though - like most filters it's a taste thing.

I'd imagine the bas auto Q is set up more for low end stuff. But, like anything else, it's a taste matter. I know bassists who use guitar wah pedals, and a guitarist who uses a bass wah (on the grounds that it "sounds better and has more punch")

The Bass Auto Q is there where as the plain old Auto Q is not. Check them out and see if you can tell a difference.
