Question MXR Bass Octave Deluxe - shielding issues?

EDIT:
Turns out it was just dirty power in my house. When I run it with a battery or with my PP2+ it's totally clean. I also A/B'd it with another one at Guitar Center and they were identical.

Anybody else pick up radio frequencies w/ their MXR M288? I just bought one from the classifieds. Wondering if there's maybe something screwy with this one. It seems to be in fine shape. Opened it up...guts look fine (of course I have no idea what I'm looking at). Thoughts? Thx!

I can't be the only one here imagining that this sounds awesome.

I bet! I've never heard of a pedal doing this. I hope to pick up one of these MXR octavers in the near future, too, so it would be nice to know if they're unreliable. Hopefully other owners will chime in.

Never had that problem with mine. But I agree that it would be cool to be able to switch that on and off! Mod idea?
