MXR Blowtorch/technical fx help?

Sign in to disble this ad
basically guys (and girls???), bought an MXR bass blowtorch today, second hand, and i think its exactly what i want. the only issue is that the LED is always on, and when i first fired it up (i've only had it about an hr) there was a loud clicking when the switch was used, and i assumed that due to this being a relatively expensive bit of kit, this wasnt meant to be happening. also i noticed the 'torch' switch seems a bit noisy while switching.
any help in suggesting what might be a solution would be great, or if anyone knows any qualified people around london who i could take it to?
cheers
Dosi

PS: if it makes any difference i've been using batteries as i dont have an adaptor yet.

Try e-mailing MXR about this. When I had a question about the blowtorch I had, they were very very helpful.
