I don't need another gain pedal. I've got THREE already. Not counting A Boss DS1 awaiting payment and a SPF Greenline I've been wanting. UGH!

erm, yeah, a DI is not really an effect, but thats always a good place to start...
some people do use it just for the distortion tho. thats never on for me. but thats just me |

| | | | Do any of you know if the DI is active (powered) or not? I'm thinking of getting a Carvin LS1503A cab (active PA cab that Greenboy et al have been using successfully as bass cabs). I'd like to use the M-80 as a DI through the XLR input, but it was suggested that this will only work if the DI is active as well. Anyone know the answer or where I could get it? Also, does anyone have any good settings to share? |

Source could be a powered mixer. It has a switch to engage the phantom power. Hope that helps, I'm not that much of a tech head.

| | | | I've had mine for a few years and the other day it picked up a radio station, could it be a dry solder or earthing issue? |
