mxr m-80 bass di

i have a m-80 di.and where i play we went to individual headphone monitors for bass.straight to the p.a.system.well since the switch i max out the sound board even with all my levels down.any advice or help would be appreciated.thanks.

If you're going from a headphone out jack to the sound board, then I'm pretty sure that signal will be too hot. Try splitting the signal before you go to the headphone amp.

Code:
Before:
DI-->headphone amp-->soundboard????

After:
DI-->soundboard
  \-->headphone amp.
If you are already doing that, then I don't know or I don't understand the question.
