Do they sound similar????? I've read through quite a few posts on here but nothing really compares the two. I'm looking for a sound very similar to the links here-

If that's the sound you want, then you want a SansAmp. The MXR gives you a mid control and a different overdrive character. Personally, I think the MXR is more versatile but if these sound samples are what you're looking for, SansAmp.
