Question MXR M182?

Anyone have any input on the sound of this? I've heard the demo on Dunlops page and it sounds pretty nice. Just wondering if anyone's experienced it in person

AFAIK, not too many people on TB have heard this thing in action yet... but there's been plenty of discussion, and a demo video floating around for a while. Just search for "MXR Grande" ("El" might be too short for the search feature).

But I didn't realize MXR had finally posted their own samples of the El Grande Bass Fuzz on their website... it sounds great, IMO. Better than in that demo video!

Man, I really wish I could find more info about this, and whether or not I should wait for the EHX Blogger. I was seriously waiting for this thing, and then I find out about EHX's pedals.

Did NAMM start today or something?

I wonder how it sits in a full band mix. The Blowtorch is the best sounding fuzz I have ever heard in terms of a full band mix. If this thing sounds that good but still cuts through a dense mix, it would be a great pedal @ $100 and with 9 volt power instead of 18V.

mxr is really doing an awesome job with their new pedals. the carbon copy and the new tremolo pedal they've come out with are absolutely brilliant.
