MXR ODGT/distortion 3

Anyone used one of these little green boxes yet?

I usually like the dist+ & Dist 3 on guitar, but what do you think of them on bass?

Anyone tried the ODGT yet? How does it compare to other overdrives like Blackstar or the TS style ones???

i found the D3 lost a little in low end. sounds reat though. a clean blend would work wonders here.

the GTOD i found to be very similar to the D3 bass wise.

however the D3 is my absolute favourite drive pedal for gtr!

Nice one thanks, does the GTOD sound simular to the Tubescreamer/SD1/bad monkey style, or is it very different?

TBH i though the gtod and d3 sounded very similar.
no discernable mid boost going on there, so i would doubt it's TS based

I see, i understand that the dist 3 doesnt actually have a huge gain amount, and could be usedas an overdrive? It sounds dark on guitar, is it quite harsh ad grainy on bass? Or is it smooth?

Im trying to decide between the GTOD, Turbo Rat and Blackstar HT-Drive, but wont be able to test all of them. Let me know what you think.
