I'm currently running 4 1/2 MXR/Dunlops:

-105q (that's the half...it is old, beaten, and has only about half of the sweep effect it should)
-6-band EQ
-Bass Fuzz Deluxe
-Analog Chorus
-Carbon Copy Delay

I'm eagerly awaiting the Bass Overdrive...currently runnign an Agro, but it doesn't seem to play well with some og the other pedals, and it's footprint is unnecessarily large.

Hey, can I join? I currently have the M80 DI and the M87 compressor. I've also owned the M82 envelope filter, which I still recommend to lots of people.

Also, for those who are interested, here's my review of the M80.

MXR M80 Bass DI+ review

I have a few. An original early 80s 117 Flanger, old 6 band EQ (70s?), and a current 10 band. Are we doing numbers?

Hey - question I hope some know. The MXR flanger was THE flanger for bass in its day. But has that klunky AC cord. Has anyone compared it to the current version? Setting it up with wall wart or power cube would be a lot easier for how I do my rig. I thought about getting a new one for that reason - but somehow I can't help but think that there is going to be some loss in quality.

Thoughts?

Proud owner of MXR Analog Chorus, and recently bought the 10-band EQ pedal and the Phase 90. MXR is probably the only brand I could arguably say I'm loyal to. good price, great sound, and pedalboard friendly

the DI+ has a distortion effect and, well, a DI.

Got rid of my MXR DynaComp because. Added an M87 and a 6 band EQ. Lovin it! People here seem to like the 10 band more, but I feel the 6 band hits more of the sweet spots on bass (the Bass knob on my MB800 rolls off the low lows real nice).

Next eventual add would probably be the MXR Octaver.

Just got the new M83!

Haven't had much time to play with it... it came UPS late yesterday evening.

But so far it sounds really strong!

Waiting for the new DC Brick to come out.

Then I'll be ready to put down some sonic abuse to my neighbors!

The new DC Brick is sweet.

Brushed steel and can take 8 different 9v pedals and two 18v...
It's actually perfect for me. Now I can add the Carbon Copy.
Plus I like the 4 to a side setup.

I love the M-288 so much that I now have 2 of them; one for the large board, one for the Boss 3-spacer.
