MXR Phaser

I got one used MXR phaser, but don't know any information.
Even dunlop customer lab response with no information of himself but he assumes that this was made in mid of 80's.

I believe the experienceful help at talkbass.
I found some similar kinds on Ebay, but not exactly same.
This has 2 knobs, one speed and one regen (might be regeneration).
So curious bout the "REGEN" working. Turning knobs makes some sound change but not exactly sure what's changed. -.-;l .
I know sounds dumb, but it is, now.

Any information or experience about this effect, or any advice of "REGEN" will be helpful.

That's definitely a 'newer' case, not like the Phase 45, 90 or 100 made in the 70's.
