Which MXR Phaser to buy?

Sign in to disble this ad
There are two newer MXR phasers on the market now. They are the MXR CSP-026 handwired 1974 script logo phase 90 and the other is the MXR Custom Shop script phase 90 w/LED. Can someone tell me, if any, what differences there are between the two and which one would be best for bass guitar? Thanx

I use '74 VINTAGE PHASE 90. It's the top of the MXR Phasers today line.
Sound warm and deep. Vintage sound w'out killing price.

I use an MXR Phase 100. It features an intensity control that lets me control the shape of the waveform. It also has a setting for the Phase 90, but that waveshape sweeps the lows a little too much for my tastes. I use the second setting.
