Hey all, just got a MXR Carbon Copy and I think its great, however I kinda miss the filter (high/low pass) on the Stereo MM w/hazarai.
I find that the repeats muddy the low ends when i play in the lower registers.
I'm looking for something with a similar size and price to the Carbon copy, with a low cut/highpass on the repeats so the delay can still be heard, but not 'felt' as much.
Any suggestions?
oh yeah - 9v centre '-' essential - low MA draw prefered
and a status LED would be good too (not all pedals have em, so i thought id specify)
thanks

thanks | Honestly, I don't know of any MXR-sized delays that have a tone control at all. The only ones I know are bigger than that, like the dd-20, the nova delay/repeater, the superdelay, and the DL-4. |

Speaking of the LS2 - I guess i could put the CC in a loop with an eq pedal - but i dont really have any room for that

It has the same controls as the Carbon Copy with a tone control. |

Problem is after postage and import tax, id probably be looking at about £150 GBP, which is a little more than i wanna spend at the moment.
but that does look like what i want, im gonna see if i can find a UK distributer.

Sounds like you were after the opposite, you want to be able to filter out the lows from the repeats to reduce mudiness? If it's possible to mod the GGG delay to introduce such a control, maybe Ryan at Fuzzrocious could do you a special modded version of the Walking Delay? |

From what experience with delays i do have, analog/tape echos do seem to cut the lows too, but i want that cut to happen faster than it to at the moment.
I love the CC but im having a hard time balancing clean and wet tones, coz i want the delay to be heard, but i dont want it effecting the groove - im using it more for existing parts, rather than bassines built around delay. So low cut is the way forward for me i think.
As for Fuzzrocious - i think ryan's got alot on at the moment, so he's sticking to muffs for now but will be expanding the product line i the summer (i think thats what he said)
I guess the Hardwire is next up for trial, so the Carbon copy and the PS3 are up for grabs.
