Unhappy is my ax3000b dead?

Sign in to disble this ad
i bought a korg ax300b a little while ago, and due to some idiot using the wrong powersupply with it, it has stopped working

when i plug the proper power supply in, the LED screen flickers on and off, and not alot else happens.

anyone here have any idea weather this sort of think could be fixable or not? im guessing that it would be impossible to tell and i should take it to a pro, but my lack of a car and living in the middle of nowhere makes it a bit arkward, so i thought i might pick you guys brains a while first

anyone here had a similar experience with miltieffects and the repair of?

It's most likely fried.
If it's a 3000B it's well worth sending to a shop and try fixing.
If it's a 300B, then you'd be better finding a used one.

By wrong power supply, do you mean somebody plugged a 120V adapter into a 220V supply? Or was it the wrong polarity? Either way, you probably blew something. The only to tell for sure will be to take it in for service.
