And How I use them in Doom?
Well I look at it as a modular synthesizer at my feet. My main bass sound is super fuzzed out 98% of the time. I use delay + murf and the phaser for spacey or ambiance in places. The Freqbox I use for big parts where I can do synth like swells and overall "freakout" parts. and the low pass filter is set up for a straight sub bass note that is run along side my regular fuzz tone....so I get a big clean low end at all times to keep things grounded.
I really can't see myself not playing in this band without my Moog's now that I have them....they are more like extensions of the instrument rather than flavors or add on's. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again Bong Ripper are great! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
