My drummer just told me...

Sign in to disble this ad
...that my guitarist was making fun of me for having the mix knob on my FM-4 set to 100%.

Not the presets themselves, mind you. Just the knob.

I also get "in trouble" for not having my OC-3 dialed in the same as the guitarist from my favorite band. (read: guitarist not bassist.)

Sounds to me like your guitarist is a knob.

Fixed

I just want to say that there is nothing wrong with having the mix at 100%, regardless of what your guitard said.

I don't even get what is funny about having the mix knob set to 100%.

It's this big purple pedal with some switches and knobs and lights and stuff. It's got a mix knob which goes up to 100%!

Well some of the filters on there do lose massive amounts of low end, so he probably means you wouldn't lose as much bass by dialing back the blend knob a bit.

Personally I just don't use those particular filters.

What do you expect out of a drumder and guitard. Intelligence? Ha! Morons come in two's, I guess. How dare you use YOUR gear to your liking.

It's OK, just put some sheet music in front of him. It will confuse him and he'll leave you alone....

You're using presets, so why not just turn all the knobs up all the way?
