My first SANSAMP. Is this normal? (see video)

I've never had a SABBDI before and I picked one up from the Classifieds. It arrived today. SOUNDS GREAT! It's like having several basses at your disposal. I don't know about the oft mentioned midscoop because I certainly did not experience any (you can see my settings in the video).

However I think there may be a problem with the foot switch. First it does not make a hard *CLICK* like say, a Fulltone. Rather it is a soft actuation much like a Moog or Markbass switch. Anyway, it also engages rather erratically. See for yourself.

Please let me know if this is normal (that a deliberate effort is needed to turn it on) or if I should take it up with the seller. Note that the seller did not embellish his description of the pedal. It looks new!

yeah. that's normal. most, if not all, tech 21 pedals are like that.
they push in and click, but they dont snap like a EHX or such pedal.
its normal. i thought the same thing with my first PDDI, then i got the VT, and it turned out to be the same thing also.

Looking back a couple of years in this forum yielded some fixes. I tried the least intrusive one and it worked so the switch is more consistent now.
