So... you guys know that blender pedal I made myself... well I accidentally discovered feedback loops while trying to fix it. some wires accidentally crossed... Now I have a switch on the box that makes turns it into a feedback loop.
Basically it self-oscillates, and its really really fun, lol. in the loop I have LBM => 105Q => TS5. Also, as some of you may remember, I made a delay pedal have delay time expression control. SO all of this noise I am making you listen to is made by all that shite!
If you want I can explain what is making what kinds of noises, making noise music is fun and interesting... turning any of the knobs in the feedback loop changes the tone completely...
BTW I don't even have my bass in my hands while doing this recording... Audio Insanity

tremolo before the loop would do nothing, because its not being fed a signal... now if you mean tremolo first in the loop... thats a good idea...
haven't put the qtron in the loop yet... might try my chorus and the delay in there...
more experimentation will ensue... but not right now lol

It would be cool to run through my system. I always have a clean channel in my mix with my bass line. All my FX are blended with a clean bass signal. |

If you wanna go totally nuts, but with an instrument as well, use a noise gate at the beginning of the feedback loop. |

A word of caution about the Q Tron though, depending on your settings, that thing can get LOUD very quickly. Damn near blew out my amp (and my ears) once because of that. Really fun though!

Be sure it's on a the choppiest wave form you can make the tremelo do. It's not so much to make noise, but it gives the pedals in the loop something to start with. Once you get going it doesn't make much difference, but it will definatly get the ball rolling so you aren't tweaking as much to get the self ocsillation going.
As far as a POG in the loop I would be scared too. I'd be afraid of the possibilities.
And as far as things like the Qtron, it is pretty loud by itself, but if you put distortion after it it actually calms down the filter. I have a BR-2 going into a Guv'Nor into a wah in the loop of my VFB-2 and it makes some really cool stuff happen.

I think I could difinately play melodies using the setup I have now, while playing bass...
this could be cool to use for not noise music

I use a reverb pedal in the loop with the feedback on during the vers of one of our songs just to space it out a little more. Yeah it completely kills the articulation of the bass, but that's what I'm going for in that section.
Awhile back there was a thread talking about what your pedal board sounds like with everything turned on. I wanted to post, but I also wanted clips to go with it. I'm going to have to drag a mic and something to record to my practice space. I can get some really cool sounds out of my board alone.

its the one that says funky noise music
the "bass line" is played by manipulating my qtron in the feedback loop, there is also delay on it
