I have a distortion pedal that I bought a long time ago. I hooked my bass up to it, and now it sounds just like a 4003/4001. It's great and weird at the same time...

This has to be the strangest Distortion pedal I have ever heard. the mid freq changes the entire tone. I have the Distortion/Gain knob all the way down, High at 10 o'clock, Bass full blast, mid full blast, and mid freq just a smidge from full. You can get many different sounds from this pedal. My Rick sound with chorus sounds like Chris Squire. I experiment with my EQ and pedals all the time...
