My Justin fanboy board...

Sign in to disble this ad
I've painstakingly duplicated that infamous board and although it fun to mess with, it's definitely not for me. If you were me, what approach would you take to selling it? Should I part it out, sell it as a set, or shut my mouth and keep it?

Well if your a real man and mimic'ed Justin Meldal-Johnsen's studio boards then I say keep it

If it's the other Justin, sell the Bass Whammy and the BR-2 and get a Micro Pg and a decent filter everything else you can keep unless you really don't dig it at all

Most of the stuff I really see no practical use for. IMHO, the keepers are the Boss pieces (good for the Cure type stuff). I must admit I'm rather addicted to my Foxx since I had it modified though.

Give it to me.

It's the only thing that makes sense.

I would sell that bass whammy as soon as possible. No telling when someone is gonna notice the Boss PS-3 is just as good WITH 5th/1up or when someone else is gonna make a pitch shifter for bass. I wanna test out the PS-3 before i consider selling my bass whammy. I really hate this freakin glitchy volume knob on the whammy.

Sell the tonebender and get a clone.

KEEP the Br-2 until the Subdecay Prometheus comes out. I don't think the BR-2 is at the top of the profit game just yet.

I wouldn't sell it as a set as most JC worshipers are not going to have that much money. Remember, it took me 2 months to buy your GK2001 vegas

Btw, get rid of the boss delay and get the subdecay echobox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm also not interested in the JC board anymore. It's a sweet board but there's so much more out there.

See that there is still an awesome board just don't play tool on it but you've got some good stuff there to do pretty much anything.

Oh and keep the VTX if you want a tremolo. You won't get much better.

If you like the pedals just keep them. If I were you I could see myself selling and upgrading the GT2, CE-5, Turbo RAT and GEB-7.

Actually, the CE-5 is my fave chorus, and the Turbo Rat is from back when they were great.

I wouldn't call it shite, but I can say it's not a substitute for the Whammy. They're two completely different animals.
