I need some help. My EHX SMMwH has decided it doesn't want to power on anymore. I honestly can't think of anything that could have broken it. It's been sitting here next to my amp for a while, along with all my other effects. I've had it powered on with a One Spot, but it seriously hasn't been giving me any issues until the other day, when it just wasn't turned on. I didn't unplug it or anything.
Any suggestions on what it could be or what to do? I'd really hate having to buy another one.

Move it to another position on the chain. If you have another power supply handy (like the original adapter it came with, or a Boss-style adapter), try those out, too.

2- run it using a power supply that you know 100% works.
3- if you bought it used, all else fails and you know the unit is faulty, you might have to open it up and see if there's any obvious wires disconnected. Using a voltmeter you can trace the 9v DC back from the DC jack. I don't know much about the innards of the SMMWH but it could even be something to do with the input jack. Pedals often have a stereo jack at the input - the unused contacts are used as a breaker to cut power when there is no guitar connected. |

If it doesn't even do this, then the problem is unrelated to the jacks.

I sent a message to customer support, and they just asked for my contact information. I had to send another email back asking what exactly they meant, because to me contact information can mean anything.

By contact information, he generally means address, name, phone number. He's probably putting in the information for a repair order, and then he'll get back to you with a repair number. Then you can send the pedal in for repair.
Repair with EHX is real simple. You just ship the pedal in, with a note about the problem, and a money order for 15 dollars. You'll write the RA number on the outside of the box, so EHX knows its a repair. They'll fix it, and send it back to the address you provided.

I'll shoot them an email now.
