My own effect

Now i don't know if people do this but... making your own effect pedal? I'm pretty decent with electronics and i was wondering if anyone has done this before or where one might find the creations of pedals so that they could create there own? Just a little something i though would be cool to learn about and possibly go through with...

People do this all the time. I would start with a Build Your Own Clone, then you could move on to prett near anything. Heck if you are handy enough you could go and try to source all the parts yourself and save some money.
