Sign in to disble this ad
Hi there.

Any suggestions that I can chain my pedals?

Now they are

bass -> dbx160 compressor -> whammy IV -> line6 m13 -> sansamp vt bass deluxe -> sansamp programable bass di -> electro harmonix big muff russian -> Crowther Audio Prunes & Custard - Harmonic Generator -> ebs valve drive -> bass amp (ampeg).

Is this right? Any suggestions?

i like the comp first in the chain. otherwise it raises all the distortion/fuzz/delay noise up too.

why the VT Deluxe and the PBDI? they kind of duplicate each other IME.

also, i put the VT Deluxe or whatever preamp/DI you settle on at the end of the chain. then you have a post-efx DI to send the FOH and it reacts more like running into a amp head.

hope that helps.

I'd go: comp>>line6>>whammy>>harmonic generator>>crowther>>big muff>>valve drive>>VT bass.

Something in that order.
