My pedal stopped working

So I got this big muff deep dish pi distortion pedal and it, like, just quit working one day about a month ago. I changed the battery (9 volt) but it's still not working. Help?

Is there a signal passing through when bypassed or disengaged?

Is there sound coming out when you hook it up and its not on as in bypassed.

My car stopped running last week. I changed the battery. Help?
