I have an Ampeg B100R which sounds fantastic, but has been giving me a little grief in the form of some sputtering, crackly sounds and some loss of lows which sometimes goes away when I wiggle some of the tone knobs. I need to bring it into the shop, but haven't gotten around to it....you know how it goes...I only use it at home, so it's not a critical issue.....
So...I picked up a Swollen Pickle recently and was really giving the B100R hell testing it out at home (the B100R doesn't sound exactly like my SVT rig, but I've found that if I like how a pedal sounds at home, it generally sounds even better through my SVT with very minimal tweaking). Anyway, I guess the rumbling the Pickle gave the B100R must have rattled things back into place, because it sounds perfect now!!!

PS - I'm not an idiot...I know that nothing is really 'fixed', and in fact now it will probably be harder for the tech to find the intermittant problem, so I'll have to wait until it starts happening again...which it surely will.....but I thought it was funny.....
