My Reverb pedal doesnt echo anymore :(

Since i brought my Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail back to Perth (West Australia fyi) it has been stuffing up on me.

SO about 15 minutes ago i had the inspiration to play and it happened again. My signal drops out when i try to turn it on and i get a crackling sound now and again. Frustration set in so i turn off the power and unplugged it and put it up to my ear to hear for any loose parts. It sounded alright to my ear but when i plugged it in, it died

Now it is like setting a tuner pedal to bypass, i turn it on and i get no reverb.

What should i do?

First:
1) Try a fresh battery
2) Try an AC adapter
3) Try new cables

If you have any faith in your manliness, you will open it up and do some basic checks. It's not uncommon for wires to come loose, and it's not difficult to solder them back on. It's not unheard of for jacks to go cacky, and it's not rocket surgery to replace them. We'll help you if you're lost - take some good high res, in-focus pictures and come back to the bosom of the forum!

My bad, it slipped my mind that it doesn't take batteries. I agree, take some photos of the guts of the pedal and post them. It very well might be something loose, the wiring, etc.

GREAT SCOTT I FIXED IT!!! lol

I took the top off it and really didnt do much. Just checked if all the wired were still attached, took a couple of pictures, whipped the top back on and attached the input/output and the switch.

Works as if it was straight out of the box!

Thanks guys for the confidence booster :P:P:P I feel more manly then ever

So what exactly was the problem? Loose wires, etc? Anyway, glad to hear it's working again.

Im really not sure ey.

All i did was take all of the input, output, power and foot switch, took the cover off and moved around the wires a little. I put on all the parts tighter and covered it all back up and it was fixed.

To me it is a mystery, but i am glad it is fixed.
