I'm not sure what you'd call it. It's in between fuzz and overdrive for me.

It's supposed to be subtle but I maxed out the setting at one point in the clip.

Sounds good after too many beers tonite. Seems to keep the low end. I was thinking that it was pretty trottled back and not at full overdrive/fuzz capabilities, but your last post says it was maxed? Either way, sounds good.

With lower gain, I often prefer pedals that will offer either: 1) The TONE, or 2) 'touch dynamics'. Neither was expressed in the sample for me, but I will say the dry tone wasn't really my cup either.

It's not a clone. Hold off on the guessing. I'd prefer comments on the tone of it for now. It's not a typical fuzz/overdrive and probably shouldn't be thought of as one. But I'm not sure what to call it.

I'll try it with a couple other basses.

From what I heard on my PC, it was very mild and on the warm side...
It's always tough to say on computers. It might be warmer w/ tubes, it might be too sterile on SS...

Does it have germs in it?

I need to double check but it might not have any diodes in it. I'll open it up when I get home from work.

no diodes! is this one of those trick "mystery dirt" threads, like the ones I post where it's a modelled effect or the tube pre of an amp?

get your own schtick, dude

I really like how it sounds! Closer to overdrive to my ears, but could go either way.

Both the TS and DOD are diode pedals though, so it's probably not either.

It seemed pretty subtle to me, and pretty clean, with a dash of "edgyness" or fur. Almost like it was blended in. Not sure if I liked it or not.
