NAME THAT TONE! Solve the mystery! Telkinesis!

Been trying to figure this out for months now. The bass on the new Telekinesis album has this sick tone (to the point that someone even wrote an article on it, see below). Seen them twice, and Jason has a Roger Mayer Axis Fuzz and a Boss RC-50 Loop Station. My guess is he probably imported some wav files that took forever to architect. I've gotten close (light chorus to fill, thick tube sound from compressor, slight dirt from distortion).

How do you get this tone?!?! The video below doesn't really do it justice. Download on iTunes to really hear it in its full glory...

Sounds like chorus and overdrive to me. Importing .wav files is above my pay grade, but I'm not hearing something that couldn't be achieved with just chorus and overdrive.

Yeah. The Youtube vid doesn't really sound right. If you hear an mp3 on good speakers you'll see what I'm talking about. Very distinct sound...
