I'm interested in those pedals that you love but would only use on one song a set. The ones you can't justify owning, because they only do that one thing, but that one thing is pretty cool to you.
Here's what I thought of:
Slow Gear
Blue Box
What else? I know there are tons of them, but that's all I can think of offhand. They can even be funky patches from obscure rack gear, etc.

It was a cool sound but I returned it as it was an expensive pedal for a sound that I didn't really use. If I was in a drum'n'bass / dubstep band though I would get the Super Fatman without a doubt. |

my nomination is the Barker Assmaster. Love it, but versatile it ain't (or subtle, understated, smooth, genteel, polite...i could go on).
actually it is capable of a few 'softer' sounds - but frankly, if you've got a plate of steak in front of you, you don't fill up on bread rolls, yaknowwammean. |

I can justify owning it though. I've had it since '84, and I never get rid of stuff.
