Right now I'm going tuner>comp>GM>Sweeper. I'll be adding an Empress ParaEQ/boost on the end of the chain as soon as it arrives!

In no particular order (yet):
MXR M87
Earthbound Iron Pig
Turbo Tuner
SFX Micro-Thumpinator
SFX Micro Red Dragon
I don't own the SFX pedals, but they intrigue me greatly.

Strange, it should work?
But I like this thumbnail option.

I was undecided if that's what it was from the pics ... the overall look and the name were right but the labelling on the small knobs (reso and range) suggested something different to the externalised trimpots of a bassballs, which control the center frequencies of two filters.
But on playing with it, seems to me that's exactly what those two controls are doing, manipulating the centre frequencies of two filters ... poor labelling really, don't understand how that happened.
So yeah, it's definitely in the same ballpark as a bassballs (it has that same distinctive fuzz tone) so I'm pretty happy. I haven't A/Bed it yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if this triggered the sale of my nano bassballs. | The only thing I would add now is that I've found it pretty noisy (as in: white noise) unless you're careful about the settings you choose. I should probably try it again on it's own (versus chained with a lot of other bypassed pedals) and see if it's possible that it's my set up.
Also, I have A/Bed with my nano bass balls, and while there is a distinct difference (that's hard to describe) they are definitely in the same ballpark, particularly with the fuzz/distortion on.

Regarding the Sweeper, thanks for the info. I'll pass on that one. Would like to find an Infinium! |

| | Ain't gonna let them jumble my mind | | Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: Knoxville | | My new go-to gig setup, built for compact versatility. Any kind of dirt, fuzz, overdrive or distortion I could ever need can be concocted, though this is mostly a mean and clean work-anywhere machine.
The SFT (which I believe actually used to be on Johno's nano ) does the warm tube emulation for motown-type stuff, and with a couple of twists becomes a tube overdrive for the later rockin sets. The M80 gives some basic EQ, can make the fuzz pedal come alive in the full band mix, and of course is a great DI when the sound guy doesn't trust my amp's signal. The fuzz is the only pedal not doing multiple duties, but I love it too much to boot it right now.
For the originals band, thinking about swapping the M80 for a delay. If I went with something like the mooer reecho, I could probably squeeze in an [sfx] B^3 for the EQ duties...but then the M80 might never make it back...
