And for bar and sorority gigs where I know things will get ugly, I leave the fancy pedals nano at home and bring the Boss beater version It's homemade and technically bigger than a nano, but these pedals would fit.

I used to have an overdrive pedal, compressor pedal, and tuner pedal. Then I got the TC Electronics RH450 head, and it does all that pretty well. So I just need the footswitch to show the tuning, mute, and go between presets (clean, aggressive, overdrive) and the envelope filter. The octaver is just a once in a while thing.

I think my Nano is finally done. For now...

I'd sure like to find a good micro envelope filter and/or octaver.

I'd also like to move the microThumpinator under the board. I know a few people have used the rubber bits from guitar stands to elevate their Nano. Are those parts available anywhere or does one need to sacrifice a guitar stand? I don't have any stands lying around or I'd have already hacked one up.

Nice looking Nano! Before I used the rubber feet from a guitar stand to elevate mine, I looked at some rubber/plastic feet for furniture at Menards. I would assume they would work but I don't remember the diameter you would need (maybe 1/2"?)

Added a BMC to my chain - any recommendations for where it would work best?

I put mine @ the end to warm up the chain, but toyed with having it in my loop to EQ distortion. Depends on what you want it to do.

Works well before distortion too. Try putting before a distortion or overdrive that's just starting to break up, then dial in some boost and sweep the frequency, see what you get. The same position is obviously also useful when distortions are off, I like to boost a little around 400-500.

Here's the latest incarnation of my PT Nano. Since I last posted my board, I've dumped my Boss TU-2 for a Korg Pitchblack (in special edition chrome finish) and added some customization with a Frank Booth decal on my Tone Hammer. Everything is powered by a Fuel Tank Jr. I mounted underneath. I've also added some painter's tape over all of the blue LEDs to tone them down a bit.

I do the same thing, but only on my MXR™ pedals (so far). I would get some resistors to solder in before the LED, but I really don't feel like doing that when the tape works perfectly fine.

Why do the jokers get the brightest LEDs they can find?

I picked up some "Light Dims" (see http://www.lightdims.com/ ) to dim overly ambitious LEDs on my pedals, which I discovered thanks to some thread here on TB.
(As a bonus, I've dimmed the LEDs on our TVs and other electronics components as well.)

Anyone have a source for the "rubber foot" pieces to raise the nano height? I don't have any stands of that style from which to salvage some.
