Then I got the TC Electronics RH450 head, and it does all that pretty well. So I just need the footswitch to show the tuning, mute, and go between presets (clean, aggressive, overdrive) and the envelope filter. The octaver is just a once in a while thing. |

I'd sure like to find a good micro envelope filter and/or octaver.
I'd also like to move the microThumpinator under the board. I know a few people have used the rubber bits from guitar stands to elevate their Nano. Are those parts available anywhere or does one need to sacrifice a guitar stand? I don't have any stands lying around or I'd have already hacked one up. |

Before I used the rubber feet from a guitar stand to elevate mine, I looked at some rubber/plastic feet for furniture at Menards. I would assume they would work but I don't remember the diameter you would need (maybe 1/2"?) |

Try putting before a distortion or overdrive that's just starting to break up, then dial in some boost and sweep the frequency, see what you get. The same position is obviously also useful when distortions are off, I like to boost a little around 400-500.

I just got it in the mail yesterday. No complaints so far.

I would get some resistors to solder in before the LED, but I really don't feel like doing that when the tape works perfectly fine.
Why do the jokers get the brightest LEDs they can find?

| | PWIYB | | Join Date: Mar 2000 Location: Chicago south 'burbs, IL | | I picked up some "Light Dims" (see http://www.lightdims.com/ ) to dim overly ambitious LEDs on my pedals, which I discovered thanks to some thread here on TB.
(As a bonus, I've dimmed the LEDs on our TVs and other electronics components as well.)
Anyone have a source for the "rubber foot" pieces to raise the nano height? I don't have any stands of that style from which to salvage some. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
