natural distortion

Sign in to disble this ad
For some odd reason when I was playing my bass today I noticed a kind of a natural distortion, not sure if its always been there and I jut now noticed it. Its getting kind of annoying because its bleeding through my chorus and flanger. I took my distorition pedal completly out of the line and I still get it, plugged the bass straight to the amp and its gone. Maybe its my pedal chain or another pedal? Here's my setup, let me know what your opinions are: bass>whammy/wah (xp100)>distortion factory>ce-5>bf-2>dd-6>amp

All my pedals are hooked up through a power supply, I was messing with my tone knobs on my bass and its kind of went away but I shouldn't have to work around that, I still get a hissing noise that's always been there as well, maybe I need a noise suppressor pedal?
