Need bass effect help

Im looking for a Good overdrive/distortion pedal. Something thats sounds like For Whom The Bell Tolls.

If you want Cliff's tone, emulate his gear. I believe Cliff used a Big Muff and a Morley Wah.

He used a sovtek (green russian) big muff and one of the old morley power wahs.

He died before the sovtek was ever made so how could he have used one?

I'm not saying it isn't a great pedal but facts are facts.

As for muffs, there are many variants on the theme. search with care.

I could have sworn he used a russian muff though, Im almost positive he used a green russian muff

It's completely impossible... Cliff died nearly a whole decade before green Sovtek Muffs came around.

Some say he was ahead of his time, but not that much!

I must be thinking of someone else then... ive had a long day lol. I didnt realize its been that long sense the sovtek came out.

Yea sad part is i think ive corrected people on that before ... someones out of it.

Back on topic:
I get something similar to cliffs tone on for whom the bell tolls using either my messdrive hybrid plus or tentacle lover super fuzz into an ibanez wah.
