need to duplicate the bass sound of this MP3 (deep sub synth/overdriven )

i need to produce a bass tone that sounds as good or better then the layered synth bass sound used in the main section of this clip.

i sorta of have an idea of a few different ways but my heads starting to spin thinking about it.

a few things

- the bass line has a low b, i want to play the line on a four string tuned standard.
- i want a deep synth sine/clean sound with a synthy fuzz layered over top.

whats my best option?

right now only pedals i have are fulltone bass drive, boss odb-3 demeter compulator, sansamp.

i was thinking of getting a barge concept vb-jr and ebs octave pedal anyways so if those would be of use they are preferred in my solution to getting a sound that works.

I'd try an ovtaver with most of the direct signal mixed out and then a touch of overdrive.
