I have the boss bass synth and it sucks. I'm looking for a really good pedal. Something that won't break up. Trying to use it for Dance/Elctronica/New Wave type music

I'm still hoping they come out with a new version of the Octavius Squeezer or at least a big firmware change. It has so much potential and was nice and small, but the UI was really difficult and some of the effects could have been better (the octaves, etc.) |

That said, I prefer the MarkBass Supersynth, the EHX Bass MicroSynth, and the Line6 M9 (or 13). |

I want a synth that can do a chill wave so I can play a bass line like the cure or something. I'm not big into that hard square wave where you can't play notes close to each other. I'm thing a chill wave to the start of a more square wave but i really don't need that too bad

If you spend an evening reading the manual and experimenting with the params it becomes more obvious what it can do, it's very versatile and the patch memory means time spent experimenting isn't time wasted.
It's not the only filter I've got on my board - I still have a Meatwad and a Bassballs after it (and a BMS but that's becoming a bit obsolete these days) but there are times when just one filter won't do the job, so even if it did have treadle control I'd probably still want at least one more filter, preferably with a treadle, at the end of my chain anyway. |

The EHX Bass Micro Synth is NOT what you're looking for, if you want to play electronica/dance. The BMS is more for 70's style funk or disco. You might want to look into finding a Korg G5 used somewhere. I've seen those go for a good bit under $300 before. |
