Need a good resource for bass pedals

I've been playing guitar for 4 or 5 years. I love effects, I have alot of them. I've just recently started playing bass, the transition came easy to me, and now I want to start doing some home recordings; guitars, bass, program some drums and synths. My bass is okay, I'm borrowing an amp, but I don't have any effects. I don't know a whole lot about bass effects, so does anyone here know a good site for browsing through bass pedals, maybe even have clips. I don't want any software effects and price doesn't matter to me. I've looked through musiciansfriend.com and proguitarshop.com but they don't have a whole lot there. Your help will be much appreciated

In case you didn't realize, your guitar effects work with bass too. Some might not sound good or lose too much low end, but that is up to you and your ears. They don't really make too many bass specific pedals, mostly because there isn't a need to.

Yeah, I have an old Boss Xtortion distortion that I had for guitar that I didn't really like but I love it on my bass, but my wah, reverb, and phaser (for guitar) sound weak on my bass so I was looking for some pedals that sound fuller on bass.

Check out bassfuzz.com for a lot of sounds, not just of fuzz (but primarily fuzz). The wiki here also is filled with clips, plus the forum has tons more from those of us too lazy to put them in the wiki.

Also, you can make any effect a bass effect with a blender. Since you aren't concerned about price, the Xotic X-Blender is supertits.

Wahs to check out: Wilson Effects has several bass-specific or friendly wahs, and the G Lab Bass Wowee sounds fantastic. The Mad Professor SWAW also sounds fat and funky on bass.

My personal favorite phaser on bass that I've tried is the Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter. Deep, extra thick, and very resonant.

Thanks for the link, plenty of pedals there to look through there, and I'll look into that Xotic X-Blender.
