| Need help - Overdrive/booster effect
Hi guys, I hope I can get some advice from you...
I'm new to pedals and effects and I'm looking for distorsion/overdrive pedals mainly for playing rock/metal.
I recently got a Big Muff Pi Deluxe and I'm loving it. However, I'd like to have a warm overdrive sound and some clean/distorted tone for some songs without having to change the settings on the Big Muff. While searching online, I found the Xotic BB Bass Preamp (which I would use as an booster/overdrive) and also the Aguilar ToneHammer. Is there any difference between the two? (I'm really really new to effects)
In any case, what would you reccomend me? |
