My rule(s) of thumb when making up the order of the signal chain is: pitch shifters (whammy, etc.) > Wahs (filters) > OD/Fuzz > Modulation (chorus, flanger) > delay > amp.

But I've also done things other ways as well, try it a bunch of different ways and let your ears be the judge. Then, once your happy with the results, you can velcro and hook everything up on a more permanent situation.

its weird, some people tell me to put ods/distortions/fuzz last
for reasons that make sense to me
and other ppl have said to put them first
for other reasons that do make sense...

but i get confused because some of my pedals arent "true bypass" which makes a difference in signal

but none of that really means that much to me, im quite new to this
i think i understand the gist of it, but anyone with knowledge in this area, your help is appreciated!

You're definitely going to have to play around w/ what goes where.

Some people put delays before od/fuzz/distortion, others after...Some put pitch shifting before everything, some put it after...It's all about what you wanna do w/ the effects, how they react to one another, how it sounds to you.

If I was setting up your board: Whammy - reverb - chorus - soul - blogger - big muff - sans - dd7 - tuner...but then I'd try it w/ reverb and chrous after the sansamp and see how the od/fuzz was changed. Good luck!
