need help with shipping a muff :)

Hello friends! I'm in dealings with a guy on here about buying his big muff. Thing is, he isn't sure how to ship it from the US to my lovely country of England! Needless to say, I'm unsure how to send a pedal from the states to here, so could any of you American types help out? As in, does he just need to go to his local post office (i'm not sure what they're called over there!) and say 'send this to england my good man?!'

Thanks dudes and dudettes

That's basically it. He should send it USPS International Priority, and it'll cost about $30.

JP.

EDIT: and take about 5 working days, depending on customs / Christmas.

Well, it will help if he's got it already packed in bubble wrap, in a nice sturdy box, taped securely shut. I become enraged whenever somebody brings unpacked or incompletely packed items to the post office and then asks the clerk "do you have a box for this? And can I borrow some tape?" And then they stand there at the counter trying to stuff some fragile Ebay item into a wrong-shaped box with no bubble wrap. Also he'll need to fill out a customs form, so he may want to pop by the post office in advance to pick up one of those forms, to save himself time and hassle filling it out while standing in the queue at the office.

You can fill out all of the paperwork online too. It's really convenient.
