Hello All! I'm am new to TalkBass and hope to contribute as much as possible. I really feel that this community is extremely helpful to the novice as well as the pro.

I am having trouble deciding what the order of my pedals should be. For years I just used an amp and bass. No effects or preamps. This is what I have. Maybe someone can help me out.

Basses:
1992 Ken Smith 5 string
1996 Ken Smith 6 string
1962 Fender Jazz
Fender Precision (60th Ann.)
Sadowsky 4 string
Sadowsky 5 string
1886 4/4 Viennese URB

Pedals:
Morely ABY
Planet Waves Tuner
Boss OC-2
DOD EQ
Tech21 Sansamp BDDI
Tech 21 Sansamp VT Bass
MXR DynaComp
Boss DD-5 with DIY TapTempo
Volume pedal
1Spot
2 Planet Waves Pedalboard Kits
Pedaltrain PT-1

Amp:
Aguilar DB-728

Cab:
Bag End Q10BX-D

Any info you can provide is much appreciated.

depends what you want to do, sonically... the stuff you listed could go a bunch of different ways, aesthetically... what type of music would you be playing mostly?

Volume should always be the very first, followed by the Octaver, then the Compressor, then the EQ, then the VT Bass, then the DD-5, then your Pre-Amp.

That's what I'd do anyway. Your ABY box, and your Tuner are totally to your discretion.
