I'm relatively new to effects -- for the last few years it's been bass->cable->head -- but I'm looking to add a little dirt to my sound now. I think what I want is something in the heavy OD/mild dist. range but I don't want to drop a ton of cash.
I did some searching here and elsewhere and these three pedals look like appealing options:
AMT Bass Pig
Digitech Bad Monkey
EHX Bass Blogger
I would appreciate input from anyone that has experience with these pedals. Other bang for the buck OD/dist. suggestions are also welcome.

But I recommend you check out:
- Ibanez Phat Hed
- MXR Bass Blowtorch
- Sansamp BDDI
(all in different price range)
I love those for heavy overdrive and "audible" bass distortion. |

What about the HAO Rust Ride?

For my "dirty" sound, I use an Ashdown LoMenzo Hyperdrive.

It looks like I need to track down some more samples. The Fulltone pedals definitely have me interested.
